The minute Will stepped foot in New Orleans, he knew he was home. Originally from Charleston, South Carolina, he grew up fostering an appreciation for southern architecture. He remembers the excitement of exploring a space that was so well established yet so new to him. When he moved to New Orleans in 2014, he was captivated by the cultural history embedded in each community, so he decided to do his part to protect it.
WHY HISTORIC PRESERVATION?

It tells the story of who you are, where you’ve been, and paints a picture of your future. It shares your memories with others and builds new ones with each passing day. But a home also has a story of its own - one that begins long before that home became yours. It shares the history of our community and illustrates the cultural identity of generations past.
