OUR RECENT PROJECTS

Napoleon Ave

The three-bay shotgun in Uptown was opened up dramatically, removing walls and adding new structural beams. The original antique heart pine floors were exposed and refinished. A 19th century cast iron summer cover was preserved and relocated to the Sun Room where it was outfitted inside another historic Louisiana. All new fully-custom Kitchen cabinetry and a new luxury Primary Bath offer modern living in a 19th century home.

Third St

The Irish Channel is full of shotgun houses like this late 19th-Century one on Third St. The non-structural renovation refreshed both units with new kitchens, bathrooms, lighting, new paint throughout, updated plumbing, gas lanterns and tankless water heaters.

Maple St

This raised center-hall is a landmark in the Carrollton neighborhood. Built in 1883 for a local grocer, most of the Greek Revival and Italianate architectural features remain as they did in the 19th century. Foundation repairs, new HVAC system, wood window replacement and refreshing the interiors will preserve the wonderful history of this home.

Octavia St

The original 1920s millwork and unique layout in this raised bungalow shows how special the craftsman-style movement was in New Orleans. In need of updating, we took the two bathrooms down to the studs and started fresh.
